Logline: To protect his rural country’s newfound riches, a newly crowned prince must navigate an arranged marriage with an aloof foreign prince, breaking down their personal and political walls to secure a crucial alliance.

Summary: Days after the discovery of precious minerals in the idyllic Ganneon countryside, an alliance is formed with urban Bakyun. A symbolic, economic marriage is arranged, contingent upon a finalized contract and a quick wedding.

Neither Aunsey nor Jet are next in line, but they both volunteer to save a loved one from what they consider a terrible fate. Aunsey’s plans to get the situation under control so he can return to his dreams of travel are slowed by Jet’s unwillingness to collaborate or even adequately communicate.

They manage to form an awkward but civil friendship by their wedding day but must put on more blissful faces during the immediate honeymoon tour of Ganneon. If Aunsey and Jet can’t convince the loyal citizens of Ganneon that their beloved prince is happily married, the plans for peace will fall apart.

As Jet learns more about Aunsey’s sacrifices, Aunsey discovers Jet’s feelings of insufficiency. Their protective and political walls begin to crumble, and their diplomatic work reaps the benefits of one prince with a strong mind, the other with a strong heart.
